What is your earliest hip-hop memory?
Performing with Kxng Crooked Swifty Mcvay Obie Trice on the Shady Gang tour to a crowd of at least 30,000 people, it was crazy, it was a great show and one of my best memories.
What sets you apart from other hip-hop artists in the music industry today?
I would say my versatility, my ability to produce raps and songwriting, and my being more independent, me and my team as a label, have the ability to market and promote my music in today’s market.
When did you realize rap was for you?
I would say when I was younger it was hard for me to express myself because I was going through so much at a young age, so music was my outlet and having the ability to put lyrics on a blank piece of paper and put them over a beat rap. A gift from God. Seeing people’s reactions shocks them because everything I rap about is real.
Fame-ous Barz, where did your nickname come from?
Back in 2015 I signed a deal with No Limit Forever Entertainment and got a lot of independent gigs in Detroit so when I started making music I wanted to be known for my music and the main factor was my bar Where, so I wanted to be famous through acting, can I rant about the bar, so you got the famous Buzz. I originally rapped under the name Fame and I wanted to keep using it so it fit my character.
Has Corona Visus interfered with promoting your music?
It’s not better for me because I can’t shoot a music video for my single because of the other restrictions and curfews we have in Detroit right now, but it allows me to showcase my artistry, graphic and visual art work with me ’s music to create music that is relevant to my life and connects with fans around the world.
What do you hope new listeners take away from your new album, My Ambition Life and Death Volume? 1 “The album will be released in June.
Overcome the odds, don’t let anyone, no obstacles stop you from sticking to something, don’t fall for anything, my music truly emulates my life because the story is that what you hear in my music is real, no Anything fictional so I’ve overcome a lot of obstacles, betrayals, redemption ambitions jealousy jealousy going to war with the people I love no matter what these people did to me I’m still standing obviously I meant more to them than what was done to me More importantly, the consequences are blessed by successful music.
Can we expect any new music in mid to late 2021?
As my album comes out, you’re going to be shocked and surprised when you hear my album, it’s going to really mess with your emotions, you’re going to have a great time, it’s going to feel like you can weather anything , if you believe in yourself, through faith in God, you can overcome anything and learn that the people you love are worth fighting for, which is really hard sometimes when those people betray you just to make things difficult for you.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Owns one of the largest multimedia groups in the industry.
Any advice for new independent teen artists considering becoming a rapper?
Know the business, believe in yourself, I have lawyers watch lawyers so you don’t go bankrupt, surround yourself with people who believe in your perspective and your vision, I have your best interest, don’t believe the hype and be wary of those trying to sell you People’s dreams mean nothing if they don’t put their money in your hands.
