The birthplace of rap still produces new talent every year. New York seems to have no shortage of eager artists hungry for fame. Prince of New York JI (sometimes just called JI) is one of them. The melodic rapper from Brooklyn has been involved since 2017.
He started with two singles and didn’t release anything until 2019. In 2023, JI released the follow-up to the 2022 record, The Young and the Restless, Vol. 1 baby don. one way or another Featured tracks such as “Save You”, “New York City Ghanistan” and more. With a steady flow of singles, another new tape could arrive in 2024.

Since the release of the project, JI has released seven singles, the seventh being titled “Miss You Tonight.” It’s a more honest, melancholy song about the girl he misses.
