The producer is very fond of his two children and often shouts them out in his music.
That’s why fans were expecting some content about Khalid spending Christmas with his family, and he delivered. He shared a video on Instagram of his two children playing with a go-kart they received as a gift. In the film, they drive around the rapper’s driveway, although their grasp of how to actually operate the go-kart seems a bit shaky. In the comments, fans praised Khalid for being a consistent and strong father role model. “Love him or hate him, he’s a W parent,” one of the top comments on the post read. Most other comments debated Khalid’s faith and nationality. Despite being Palestinian, he has remained silent on the ongoing conflict with Israel in the region. He has also claimed to be a Muslim in the past, leading many to wonder why he celebrates Christmas.
This isn’t even the first time Khalid has celebrated his children this month. Last week, footage of him becoming an ecstatic father circulated online. At that moment Assad won the student of the month award at school and Khalid was very excited about it. Khaled named his 2019 album, aptly, after his song Assad’s father.
