Dame Dash says he will regain control of Roc-A-Fella Records after his co-founders JAY-Z and Kareem “Biggs” Burke ousted him from the label.He discussed his situation with the company in an interview GAUDS SHOWlast week.
“I want Roc-A-Fella back; I don’t need any paperwork,” he said. “Roc-A-Fella is never dead. It’s not dead; it’s not dead. I just took a fucking vacation. I’m the CEO of Roc-A-Fella Inc. and JAY-Z knows it, Biggs Also know. It’s not Roc-A-Fella LLC — we sold it; Roc-A-Fella Inc. — I’m still the CEO.”

JAY-Z and Biggs previously sued Dame for allegedly trying to sell Hov’s 1996 debut album, reasonable doubt, in the NFT auction. The parties eventually reached a settlement, agreeing that no shareholder would have a direct ownership interest in the album. “They took me to court and said I tried to sell all their interests, knowing I didn’t,” he explained. “I just wanted to sell mine, but they did it to screw up my sale (…) We don’t go to court. You call me and then you want to lay on me? That was last year. I’m worried about that.”

Dame insists he’s willing to talk to JAY-Z in person, but claims the business mogul won’t meet with him.talking about CEO Show In October, he said: “As a man, I always say we can discuss it anytime. Men should always be able to speak freely, but I’m happy with my life right now. I know the whole world wants to see it and I’m happy too Would love to see it. It would be great if we could create something that inspires me. I don’t want to be running around on stage dancing.
