Zion Williamson showed off a prominent new tattoo on his chest featuring a large cross with a roaring lion on top. However, the design was thoroughly mocked online for being slightly off-center. The meaning behind the tattoo is unclear, but Williamson seems very happy with the design. What do you think of tattoos? Let us know in the comments.
However, several other commenters said Williamson should focus on his health rather than new ink. It comes after Williamson’s ex-boyfriend, porn star Moriah Mills, told Williamson to “get on the treadmill” and cut things like soda out of her diet. Additionally, with Williamson missing significant time due to injury in recent seasons, the final three years of his contract recently became non-guaranteed. While Williamson could regain guaranteed protection, the Grizzlies can currently waive him after the 2024/25 season without financial penalty. The contract change took effect after Williamson missed more than 22 games last season.

Ja Morant criticized for celebrating with gun
Williamson isn’t the only thing people are talking about in the Grizzlies-Pelicans game, however. Ja Morant once again stirred up controversy when he appeared to pull off a gun celebration after throwing a game-clinching alley-oop. Morant appeared to fire two imaginary guns before running back onto the court. Of course, this drew the ire of many, as Morant was just four games into his season before it was cut short due to a gun-related suspension. However, the Grizzlies seemed to like the move and shared the footage to the team’s official X account.
The victory over the Pelicans marked the Grizzlies’ fourth consecutive victory and meant the team’s record was 4-0 since Morant returned to the team. Morant scored a game-high 31 points and 7 assists. However, Morant also tied with Williamson for the game-high 6 turnovers. Williamson had 23 points and 11 rebounds in the one-point game. It was just Williamson’s second double-double in December.
