Metal Vocalist Complains About No Moshing, Gets Beat Up by Santa

Even if you’re tired of all things Christmas, you can’t miss this video. At a local show in Sacramento, California, the Smack’d Up singer decided to cut a high-heeled promo to the crowd and was assaulted by a man dressed as Santa Claus.

Perhaps inspired by WWE’s Elias verbally destroying his town or Philip Anselmo’s “Stop” gimmick to get fans more energized, Smack’d Up’s Matt Kupers decided to throw his own shadow in Sacramento.

“Delay!” Coopers began. “I thought this was Sacramento, California. I didn’t know this was a damn state. Asshole, this is Sacramento.” He got that far before Santa rushed on stage, punching himself in the face A few punches followed, then Coopers tripped off the stage and landed on his butt.

The clip cuts short when Coopers gets back on his feet, so we’re not sure if Santa got his comeuppance. Fun fact, this is a “Toys For Tots Benefit” show, which features photos with Santa, a hot chocolate station, an ugly Christmas sweater contest and more. Hopefully this ordeal doesn’t ruin the show’s charitable intentions…or the Santa picture station.
