After receiving heavy criticism, Ja Morant and his fans defended the player’s recent actions. They claim Morant did not celebrate with a gun during the Grizzlies’ recent win over the Pelicans. Instead, they said Morant was doing “Rock Ya Hips,” a regional dance move from New Orleans. Morant himself even admitted it on social media. The win moved the Grizzlies to 4-0 since Morant returned to the team last week.
The choice to hold the dance in New Orleans stems from Morant’s longstanding feud with the Pelicans. After the team passed on him in favor of Zion Williamson, Morant took every opportunity to troll the team. Morant has been the better player since they were drafted due to Williamson’s battles with injuries.

Lil Wayne thinks Ja Morant is the next face of the NBA
