In the heart of Louisville, Kentucky, a movement is rising—one that honors, uplifts, and empowers women in the entertainment industry. Led by the dynamic and visionary Dennisha Rivers, also known as Renee Unique, Hip Hop Fraternity Kentucky (HHF KY) is proud to introduce Queen of the Beats, a groundbreaking new show set to launch in 2025.
As the CEO and COO of HHF Kentucky, Dennisha has dedicated her career to building platforms for artists, particularly women, in hip-hop and entertainment. Queen of the Beats will shine a spotlight on the creative brilliance of female producers, DJs, artists, and entrepreneurs, giving them a well-deserved stage to showcase their skills, share their stories, and inspire the next generation of industry leaders.

A Vision Rooted in Community and Culture
Dennisha Rivers is more than just a leader—she is a force of nature. Her work spans music, media, politics, and community outreach, always with the mission of empowering young people and strengthening communities.
Founding Vision of Life Outreach and 4 the Culture LLC
In 2018, Dennisha founded Vision of Life Outreach Ministries, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting homeless families and youth in transitioning from homelessness to self-sufficiency. The organization offers educational workshops, mentoring programs, life skills training, entrepreneurship opportunities, environmental justice initiatives, financial literacy education, transitional housing, and emergency assistance.
Her work extends to Music 4 the Culture, an initiative focused on providing opportunities for young people through music. In collaboration with HHF Kentucky and Sensae Nowa, Dennisha organizes the annual Hip Hop Day, officially recognized by a proclamation from Senator Gerald Neal. HHF KY also provides workshops and resources for artists, supporting their growth in the industry.
Breaking Barriers in Politics and Advocacy Political Engagement
In 2024, Dennisha ran for Louisville Metro Council District 4, demonstrating her deep commitment to public service and civic engagement. Although she did not secure the nomination, her campaign emphasized local issues, community development, and advocacy for underrepresented voices. Beyond her own political aspirations, she has served as a political consultant and campaign manager, helping others navigate the political landscape and push for impactful change.

Office for Women Ambassadors Program
In 2023, Dennisha was selected as a member of the Office for Women Ambassadors Program in Louisville, Kentucky. This program focuses on education, advocacy, and legislative initiatives to improve gender equality and address issues such as gender-based violence, human trafficking, social and economic well-being, housing, education, and civic engagement. As an ambassador, Dennisha continues to amplify women’s voices and promote policies that foster equity and empowerment.
Kentucky Women’s Empowerment Movement
In 2018, Dennisha founded the Kentucky Women’s Empowerment Movement, a statewide initiative celebrating women’s entrepreneurship, wealth, health, and sisterhood. The movement provides resources, networking opportunities, and support systems for women across Kentucky, encouraging collaboration and business growth.

Dennisha’s influence in the entertainment industry extends beyond advocacy. Her production company, in partnership with Global One Entertainment, is committed to producing content that highlights civil rights, African American history, and culture in Kentucky. Additionally, she has expanded her media presence through red carpet hosting at the Trifecta Gala during Kentucky Derby weekend and as an independent media professional for Churchill Downs, covering one of the world’s most prestigious horse racing events.
Authorship and Advocacy
As a ghostwriter, editor, and publisher, Dennisha has contributed to works such as Twisted Napkin, a book detailing surviving domestic violence. She is a vocal advocate for domestic violence survivors, mentoring young people through 4-H programs, youth and women’s ministries, and organizing youth summer camps focused on safety, environmental justice, and providing hot meals for children in need.
Mental Health and Community Leadership
Mental Health Advocacy
Recognizing the critical importance of mental health in building strong, resilient communities, Dennisha has organized community health and wellness fairs, providing access to mental health resources. She works to destigmatize mental illness and ensure that individuals receive the support and care they need.
She is also an active member of the Local Violence Coalition and the Community Sanctuary Project (CSP), a mental health and spiritual counseling initiative responding to gun violence in Louisville. Through these efforts, she seeks to heal communities and prevent further violence.
National Board Involvement and Youth Advocacy
Beyond Kentucky, Dennisha serves as a national board member of TBOC (Take Back Our Children), a youth initiative focused on arts, education, and the Stop the Violence movement. She also collaborates with the Marvin Gaye Legacy Foundation, supporting youth rallies and marches, including the 2025 Youth Rally and March in September, sponsored by Master P.
