Danielle Clark, a native of Greater Cincinnati, has a role in the new musical film The Color Purple. “It’s a really exciting time,” Clark said. Clark said she has been singing most of her life, showing off her talent. She graduated from Mason High School. She went on to major in music education at Howard University and appeared on the NBC show “The Sing-Off.” She now lives in Los Angeles, works as a studio singer, and has worked on several films. But nothing compares to one of the voices you hear in the new musical The Color Purple. Clark returned to Cincinnati with her husband and four-month-old baby to spend the holidays with her siblings. This is the first time they have been able to reunite with their parents since they were scattered. The whole family went to the movies on Christmas Eve. Clark said it was surreal to watch the film and know that he had a role in it. “I feel very honored to have been given this opportunity,” Clark said.
