It’s no secret that Halle Berry is just about every celebrity’s crush, but as Cam’ron recently revealed, approaching her without a shirt and holding a promotional tape isn’t a good way to win her heart.in an episode all the smoke During last week’s podcast, the Harlem native recalled trying to flirt with the actress before he was famous. While he can’t seem to get her phone number, he is able to give her a sample of his music, which somehow ends up working out for him.
“I love Halle Berry, right? So one day, I[recently]got a record deal and I had just finished playing basketball in Los Angeles,” he explained. “I was at the ATM and I was like, ‘Yo, there’s Halle Berry next to you!'” I didn’t have a haircut and I didn’t have a shirt on,” Cam continued. “I was like, ‘Yo, let me hurry up and talk to you. You talk about it!’ She said, ‘No, no, no, no, no, no. You have to relax. I was like, ‘Listen to me! Listen to me.’ So she walked quickly towards the car, I followed her with a cassette tape in my hand.”

Cam’ron reflects on Halle Berry’s run-in
“Before CDs, my promotional videos were on cassette tapes,” he continues. “So I thought, ‘At least let me give you my tape!’ So she rolled the window down (a little bit). There was a guy lying down in the passenger seat. I slid the thing over and brought my promo to Her. It wasn’t my album. It was one of those things that had snippets of songs on it. So I gave her that thing.”
According to Cam, he later learned the man in the car was none other than Larenz Tate, who told him he was a big fan of the American Music Awards. “Larenz Tate was like, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to fuck you,'” he described. “You’re one of my favorite people in years.
