According to newly obtained legal documents thunderboltKevin Hart has decided to take legal action against Tasha K. He recently filed a lawsuit against the gossip blogger, accusing her of blackmailing him for $250,000. A representative for Tasha K allegedly contacted Hart’s team in November, claiming to be ready to conduct a stern interview with one of his former assistants. He accused her of threatening to release it if he didn’t give her the money.
Tasha K. eventually received a cease-and-desist letter saying she had no right to discuss Hart’s story. He further stated that he would not pay her. Tasha K later shared a snippet of the above interview on her blog’s Instagram page. Hart’s team saw this as a threat; suggesting that if she didn’t get paid, she would release the full interview.

Kevin Hart takes legal action against Tasha K
“You have committed a criminal act and a tort, and you will be entitled to monetary damages should Mr. Hart choose to file a civil lawsuit regarding this matter,” Hart’s lawsuit reads. “If you do not stop now, you will be liable to such Liability for monetary damages will increase, as will the criminal penalties you face.” Hart also argued that his former assistant, Melissa Shake, would be in trouble if the interview were made public. According to him, she signed a confidentiality agreement when she was employed by Hart.
During the interview, Shayk revealed various bombshell stories about the beloved comedian, including his alleged role as a serial liar. She accused him of impregnating a flight attendant on a private jet, having an affair with an Instagram model behind his wife’s back, and more. Shayk also claimed that Hart struggled with a gambling addiction and that “poker was his game.” She claimed things got out of hand at one point and he was allegedly unable to pay his staff proper wages.
